White Horse Country Park — Local services in Westbury

The park as it's referred to is really a walk through fields. Nothing much to see apart from grass, blackberry brambles along with nothing very interesting in terms of trees.

It has a rough old circular path laid decades ago by the council that is very stony in places and does not make for comfortable walking.

I belive it has 5 benches where you can take a rest and probably those were constructed by volunteers.

It is not wheelchair friendly in any way at all. If you wanted to push a child in a pushchair or an wheelchair bound person then forget it.

For me it's typical for Trowbridge which is run poorly by Wilshire Council who spend nothing much on this place and who probably wish they could sell for housing.

They need to consider disabled people and make a decent path so at least part is accessible to all.

Its a place to excercise your dog, if you have one but I would prefer to walk in Bradford on Avon which is far better and at least is...

I was quite surprised to see, today, a post slating the food served at the White Horse Country Park on Sunday, Fathets Day. The person in question stated that the food was grey and the meat was dry. I wonder are we eating in the same place ? I have eaten here since Teresa and Paul took over the running of this establishment and find it very hard to believe this person is disappointed with the quality of the food. I have never eaten a bad meal or had a bad drink. The quality of the food is fabulous and the service and staff commitment is second to none.Therefore in the future dont come to the Sunday meals and try elsewhere...

Terrible food. Tough, well overcooked meat, strange tasting and again so overcooked. Just horrible. Clearly the food was awful and looked grey and overcooked yet we were still served. Even the draught beer tasted odd. Such a shame. We were all so disappointed and to see the staff outside the entrance smoking too. They should have their own place to smoke. Didn’t complain as we were there with friends who also ate very little and clearly didn’t enjoy either. We couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Maybe we went on the wrong day and time but sorry, never again. Insulting to be served such...
