The Oaks Barns — Local services in Winchester

What an amazing few nights stay we had as close family of 7 in The Oak Barns for New Years eve and Birthday celebration! Barn was beautifully decorated for this winter celebration, log fire was lovely and cosy, great space, brilliant kitchen with open space and big table was perfect for our meals, amazing bathroom, bedrooms was all good sizes. Everything was clean and tidy. Mezzanine was great especially in the evening where we could all chill and play games, watch tv and kids corner was brilliant for our little nephew. Ceiling had built in speakers which was good touch. On a second day we managed to use a barbecue for steaks and hot tub even so it was raining but it didn’t spoiled our birthday celebration . We hired out the whole place - which was 2 bedrooms in The Piggery and 4 bedrooms in the main Barn. The whole place is beautiful and everyone had a great stay. Two hot tubs, one which is under shelter so handy when it did rain one of the days. Plenty of parking. 3 bathrooms (but one is ensuite), 2 large communal areas for the group to sit and eat together as well as a large outside table and a sheltered fire pit under shelter. You could tell that the property hadn't been lived in as it could do with a few little things such as hooks to put bathroom towels on or somewhere to put a toothbrush etc but generally everything had been thought of and it was a lovely place to stay. We stayed at the Oaks Barns this weekend and couldn’t be happier with the decision to stay here! The barns are both gorgeous! There is a lovely little area for kids as well as 2 lounge areas in the main barn with a log fire and lots of wood to keep it going a feeling cosy! The Christmas tree and other decorations was such a lovely touch and made the weekend even more special. The host is brilliant and so lovely - great communication in the lead up and on hand to answer any questions when there but all information you would need is provided before or on arrival. We stupidly left something at the barn and Charlotte went out of her way to help us retrieve the item! Would 100%...
