Dollar General — Local services in Abbeville

Went today to do a little shopping and it was HORRIBLE !! You can’t look at anything without a pile of things falling off the shelf because it is so cluttered and piled up . Worst thing is a lady and 2 guys that were I guess suppose to be unpacking inventory to put on shelf were so immature !! The 2 guys were running around the store chasing each other around the store and the lady was walking behind them laughing . The lady beside me just looked at me in disbelief put her things down and said she would never come back to that store . I have never seen anybody so unprofessional and so disrespectful to others !! The little girl working the cash register was so nice and polite and working her butt off . While everybody else was running and playing she had a line of customers but was still so polite . I felt sorry for her because apparently she was the only one working . I will be calling corporate...

Rude. She didn't greet us. She didn't want to answer any of our questions. She didn't know what was sold in her store. She didn't know where anything was. Until the handsome black man came in behind us. Extremely rude black female cashier. (I am also a black female). She was the only one in the store on Wednesday Oct 31st approximately 10 am. I had 2 buggies full of items. I and my family were from out of town and on my way to my nephew's funeral. However, I didn't even purchase anything and what dollar General doesn't have a public bathroom for their customers. I have been in more than 30 DGs across the US and They all have public restrooms. They build them with Public Restrooms. They were just to freaking lazy to keep it clean. They lost $200 + from me...

The employees are pretty cool, if tired from being overworked and underpaid. The store is often a mess with stock in the aisles waiting to be put away, but that is not the fault of the employees or probably even the manager. Dollar General is a very cut throat company at it's core. If I wasn't so broke I wouldn't give them my buisness because of how awful they are to their employees. I'm giving this a 3 stars because I almost always walk out of there with what I need and the employees are nice and chill, but the store is...
