Emma's Place — Local services in Abbeville

I used to visit this store regularly. However, during my last visit to get food, I asked them if their bar b q was good, seeing as how everyone has their own interpretation of bar b que. Emma smarted off at me and said, "No! We just make it for the hell of it!". To be fair, I got the brisket, and it was excellent. However, the attitude was uncalled for and I refuse to give my business to a douch bag. My wife works as a front-end manager at a café and I have always taught her that you never break your character of professionalism no matter how ridiculous you think a question is. I believe in maintaining the professional standard, no matter what. Other than when I have no other choice for getting a drink, I refuse to give this place my business....

I stop by Mrs Emma’s on Monday 9-29-25 to see if they had any of their famous chilli dogs available,,,, the young sweet lady prepared me two of their awesome chilli dogs with some mustard,,,, these chili dogs were delicious as usual but we’re made with love!!!!!!!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍💪💪💪💪💪💪💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 I LOVE SUPPORTING SMALL...
