Le Marche' — Local services in Abbeville

They are known for having just about anything you could need. I often stop when I'm passing through from Lafayette to Abbeville, but I make a special trip for their freshly-frozen tuna steaks. They are gorgeous! Their meat selection is unmatched and they have a grill for prepared foods, too (try a burger). They have a surprisingly good selection of wine, and are known for their cold beer. I usually walk away with a goodie or two from the register (locally produced items usually hang around here). They also have a decent selection of hardware store-type items so you don't have to make a trip far...

It's more then (just) a country store. It's as close to a fully stocked grocery store and hardware store as possible without having separate and individual stores. Even better, it's stocked with items we always need yet never expect a (country store) to have.

In addition, it has so much more! From fresh produce and specialty meats to indoor and outdoor cookware and just about everything in between. Prices are fair, as close as you would expect to a bigger box store. Staff are Great and oh, did I mention, "it's a family owned, family atmosphere...

Thanksgiving week 2021. Holiday hell in full swing all throughout Lafayette and wife is striking out everywhere on cream cheese. Get the call on my way back from Gueydan and stop in.
