Writing this review as of December 10th, 2022 I went into this place. The place was virtually spotless even smells new. The bathrooms are just spotless. In my opinion, I think the bathrooms are better than buc-ee's. It's like a super secret cheap version of Buc-ee's. Employees are very nice and generous. The only downside is as of today of the 10th, They do not have any kind of hot food like a normal convenience store would have. But the manager said that they are working with vendors to get hot food and their store within the month the other reason why I'm knocking a star off is the steep front entrance. It could have been designed a little better. They have your normal convenience store stuff in addition to hardware clothes and pretty much just about anything you can think of. Gas was very cheap as of the 10th of December. It was $2.29 a gallon for regular unleaded. The big highway sign that you can see from interstate highway 35 is a little bit away from the station so that way you can get a chance to exit and not drive by it and have to turn around to come back which I think is...

You know, I kind of like this store in some ways. And in some ways I don't they have fresh, produce there and groceries? But I never see anybody buying anything from the store. They're Always buying Cigar. Ettes or a kolache. I bet you they throw away a lot of produce every week. They have a lot of clothes and shoes there also but I never see anybody buying any. I figure the owner must havr deep pockets and is just waiting for the population of abbott texas to boom someday. The truckers do seem to enjoy the showers and washers and dryers though. LA also have a hardware section to their store.Which i must admit is mainly the reason I go there. The plumbing section rivals Lowes and home depot., and It's a good thing too that they have a good selection Because I think I'm a farmer don't have time to be going to Lowes. They got fields to tend to, crops to take care...

This is the one on the east side of I35. The dog park, while a great idea...is NOT trucker friendly. The only parking is for cars, truckers and their dogs are all the way on the opposite side. That's a whole lot of hot asphalt to make your dog walk on. Other than that it has a large covered area, all astroturf type ground cover, (yay no stickers!) and several partitions. Take your own water bowl, and the only spigot I found was in the first area. Also, b4 letting Fido loose...check all of the gates!! Sadly, people are already negligent in poop clean up. So watch for landmines. The parking is clean, (so far, lol) , and the store definitely has a little of everything. No diner/restaurants yet. If you have mobility issues, the truck area is quite a walk to the store. Only gave 2 stars due to the distances and no area at all for our canine copilot on...

Truckers will like this, especially those who own their rigs. In speaking with an employee, showers are only $9 each or free with 50 gallons. They even have a dog park for the dogs to stretch their legs. I stopped at night and it was well lit with lots of friendly employees. They just opened November 2022, so they are still improving it. A cafe or restaurant is coming as well as a humidor. Sounds like they will be building the same thing on the opposite side of the highway for south bound travelers. The prices on gas were excellent and restrooms clean. Even got some groceries there. Bread was only 99 cents to make sandwiches on the road. I will make this a regular stop on I-35.
