I can't tell you if the actual experience is good or not as we never made it inside. We purchased tickets for 9 pm thinking it was like every other haunted house that sells based off time slots but we were wrong. We arrived at 845 and checked in to receive our number of 364. Checking the current number and noting it was at 305 we decided to go do the zombie paintball.
Not only did only four paintball guns work, the generator to power the lights went out so the group ahead of us had to shoot using the attendants flashlight. Another 20 minutes waiting for gas to arrive after one of the "zombies" had to go get it. The zombies are just people dressed in overgarments with padding taped to their chest. My kids even asked why they called them zombies and I didn't have a good answer.
Finally, we get back to the main area to find they had only made it through 12 numbers in the 45 minutes we were in line for the paintball. Another hour wasted waiting and they only made it to group 325. We left at 11 after being there for over two hours and they only made it from group 305 to group 325. We were not willing to wait an additional 2 hours to even start. Why sell time based slots online if your system doesn't work? We timed the average start time per group and it appeared to be between 7 and 10 minutes.
There was absolutely no where to sit while waiting, inside was far too loud and reminded me of a dance club rather than anything haunted. There was a $10 parking fee that was not mentioned anywhere online or any options to purchase ahead of time. They only take cash or cashapp so plan on that extra fee. Once parked you just have to randomly wander around the back of a building with zero signs. Once there you pretty much stand outside in small groups for hours until your number is called.
I believe this is my first google review as normally bad service or an experience isn't worth my time to do a review but this was different. After the $100+ spent, plus random $10 for parking and the 45 minute drive from Fayetteville, my family left before even going in as it wasn't worth waiting 3-4 hours for the poor experience. If you ask me if this is something worth doing in the area I would say avoid...

Aberdeen Fear Factory brought an eerie atmosphere this year with its dark hallways, fog-filled mazes, and unexpected twists. While the haunt had strong moments, it struggled to keep the intensity consistent. The creativity was there, but it lacked the staff to bring it all together. Hereâs what we thought:
Cast/Actors: 6/10 The cast was respectful and stayed in character throughout. They were ready to scare or even dance with guests, which added a fun touch. However, the haunt suffered from a shortage of actors inside, leaving too many empty stretches that made it feel smaller than it was.
Costumes: 6/10 A few costumes stood out and fit the scenes nicely, but most were average, and some didnât match the theme. With more detail and cohesion, this area could easily improve.
Customer Service/Organization: 7/10 Staff were friendly and polite, but organization outside could be better. There were no clear signs or lighting for the entrance, which caused some confusion when arriving.
Decorations/Sets: 7.5/10 The sets were creative and told a solid story. The black mazes, especially the blindfolded section, added tension and fear. Still, some areas felt unfinished, with empty spots and too much cardboard filler.
Entertainment: 6.5/10 The midway had enough actors to keep things lively, along with a dance floor, music, and cotton candy. However, most of the time was spent just sitting and waiting, with not much else to do. Adding more interactive activities or games could make the wait more exciting.
Scare Score: 6/10 A few scares landed well, especially in the fog and maze areas, but most moments were predictable. The lack of actors made it hard to maintain consistent fear, though the potential for stronger scares is definitely there.
Walk-through Time: 40 minutes
Overall: 6.5/10 Aberdeen Fear Factory delivers creativity and atmosphere, but needs more actors and better organization to reach its full potential. Itâs worth a visit for locals or first-timers, but feels more like a one-time experience than a...
Read moreHaunted House: Even though it was a long wait, and had troubles with signs for each place and indicating which activity was which, it was fun, I really enjoyed it, it was funny, actually spooky and scary. (not recommended for kids younger than 13) to be honest, it's literally not good for them due to language and frightening situations. In some stages you have to be a little bit interactive and talk to some of the actors in order to follow instructions, you'll have to run and move on really fast and you can scrape your skin, get hit or get some injuries because of the hard wood or metal during the rush otherwise you will be caught depending on the stage. There are also jump scares and several horrifying situations. There are some mistakes on the exits, because there are several and you could get confused and go to the wrong exit, and that could ruin the whole game because of its disorganization... it's not a lot though. (the place is huge) and they really took advantage of that using every little spots. The beginning was boring because you had to wear blindfolds and people were just randomly touching you. At the end you get to finally escape if you are lucky and get out of the building, you get to go to a bus and just chill out with your group and might see some actors dancing with loud music in the bus (it's funny). You can tip your driver if you want to. I think it was definitely worth it and I had fun, if you're interested don't think about it too much, you should just try it. Thanks for reading my...
