Hours of operation, at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Exchange, are not conducive for Soldiers. This exchange caters to our retired veterans due to the lesser amount of Soldiers assigned to Aberdeen since the BRAC several years ago. Limited options for Soldier uniforms and watch out for one particular seniot, male employee who will question you browsing the clothing and sales section in your civilian clothes. He is not very polite about it. Then, he will one up you with his stories of being in the military for a few years, which was more than 30 years. Good for him for being a military veteran, but he should not be onery with military personnel who are shopping during their time off. He also mentioned that he likes that the store is quiet (i.e no customers). Very strange for an exchange that is "struggling" to stay open on Aberdeen. I would suggest that there be a small desk with an Exchange employee checking CAC ID before walking into the clothing and sales section of the store, so that Soldiers are not harassed while shopping in their civilian clothes.
