This is a ver very BAD clinic to go to. Is the most mercantilist veterinary clinic I have set foot to in all WA State. I would not even advise making an appointment because they charge a significant $60 deposit to steal it from the clients under any excuse. This morning I was doing a favor to my neighbor who was at risk of getting in trouble for missing work to make it to her puppy's appointment. I took the puppy, it was a way longer drive than expected and there were many detours and road works going on. I arrived 23 minutes late, the staff at front desk not even acknowledging that the roads are under work and in such a rude remark just blurted out that they were going to speak to the vet because she didn't think we could be seen. Let me say the clinic was EMPTY (inside and the parking too) and all I could see was money being invested in this business in stuff like fancy tv a huge receiving hall with very few chairs. Well, the story ends very sad because not only did they deny care for being late. They said my neighbor needed to reschedule and make ANOTHER $60 deposit because she just lost that first deposit for not making it to the appointment on time. I ask to speak to the vet, my request was bluntly and rudely denied. When asked for the manager, allegedly the manager was not in the office and they took my number and name on a piece of paper as if they were throwing it to the trash the minute I left the clinic. I never received the call from the manager, of course. I said I was doing a favor and drove 45 minutes out of my way just to be denied care, and also to tell my neighbor she lost $60 because I was late 23 minutes? And with a completely emotion less face they said yes. I will advise my neighbor not to go to this clinic again, and I advise anyone thinking about taking their animals there NOT to do it. This is a place that only cares about money, not about animals or the people who take care of them. What a horrible experience, what a bitter feeling after being treated in this way and so wronged. It is extremely unfair that practices like these exist and probably have the monopoly of the whole area and are taking advantage of their customers by all these unfair policies. It is unfair that people like these are having jobs and priviledge while mistreating others and taking advantage of them, taking their money, not really being ethical and being so hypocryte with their big facade and making an impression that they care. It's all but marketing. I feel frustrated veterinarians can sometimes be the least caring people, without emotions or serious concerns for animals. It's all about money for vets like these ones and clinics of this sort like the DESPICABLE Grays Harbor...
Read moreWe use to love GH Vet and then our vet left. When she left we were then switched over to the owner. We took our dog in because he was vomiting non stop. They looked at him and ran tests with out our knowledge. We were then told it was just a stomach ache. We asked what tests were ran and results and were told we are getting you to billing to pay your bill. Once at billing we asked the same questions what tests were ran and results they said your statement will explain it here’s your total. No explination was given as to what was done to our dog. They gave us meds with no explination as to what they were for or what they were.
We took out other dog in for hip pain. She had to have X-rays. They said they were going to have to sedate her cause she wouldn’t sit still. We asked if we could go back with her cause she was just scared. We had been able to sit with out other dog in the past. We were told no cause it was Covid. We weren’t comfortable with her being sedated as she was very young. We asked that she not be sedated. Magically they were able to do it with our sedating her.
We were extremely loyal customers for quite a few years until the service went down hill and they were just in it for the money. They use to be fantastic about explaining things but with in the last few years there is no explanation they just want you to pay a bill and not ask questions. We switched vets. Don’t waste your money or your time. There are plenty of other great vets on the Harbor where the vets take their time to actually explain to you what’s going on and the prices...
Read moreSince I can't reply to your message, I will just write another review for you. You say that your staff put their “heart and soul” into take care of Amara, yet, you prolonged giving her IV fluids to help save her until you could get payment even after a promise to pay was made. I hope in the future you reconsider letting someones family member suffer in your care for monetary purposes. You say that you did this because she had never been seen there before, but you could have instead refused to allow her to be picked up until a payment was made rather than letting her SUFFER while she was your responsibility because a 16-year-old girl who trusted you to care for her dog was at school and her parents were at work.
To say you are heartless and in this business for the money is giving you more credit than you are due. I hope that when your family members are sick in the hospital no one refuses to treat them because you haven't come to pay first.
I would give zero stars if I could, and I would never recommend someone to bring their pet here unless you can pay for them first, unless you want your pet to suffer like Amara did.
No need for another copy-and-paste reply, you have done quite enough of...
