Lion's Den — Local services in Abilene

Have always been my fave toy store. The staff is always kind. And some are very helpful. However, if you like the freaky side of things, theres some employees that are a bit judgmental and they let you know it. Right infront of you, they are not shy about it. Personally, if I owned a business, I would not keep employees that discourage certain sales. If you don't want to sell freaky items, then don't stock them. And NEVER talk negatively about a customer because of what they bought. After all, you ARE in the sex business, you ARE aware of what you sale. If it bothers you that much, then you shouldn't be in the sex industry.

Other then that, its a great store. If you don't care what people think of you, then it shouldn't be a problem buying what ever you want.

Dear other customer, I get it that some of you might be embarrassed to be in a store like this. But being loud and trying to be funny or try to embarrass the person who went in with you, annoys those of us who are not embarrassed and are trying to get on with our shopping. Further more, bragging that you spent $200 and treating us like we don't spend enough (just because you can't see whats behind the counter that I'm getting) makes you look like an amateur shopper that needs to get out more. And you are annoying. DON'T DO THAT!! Yesterday was a great experience with an employee that answered all my questions and didn't put anything we looked at down even once. Hope to run into her more often as we do enjoy going out there. Always will have my business.

Great place. I frequent this shop so much I'm a rewards member, which I might add is a great program, I received $10 store credit just cause it was my birthday. While I mainly shop here for sexy outfits I also have a wide variety of awesome tank tops and t-shirts that you will only find at the Lion's Den. I've been to many Adult Stores and this store is probably the most cost effective store. If you think prices seem high, they're actually the same or better than most stores with similar items. The entire staff is nothing but knowledgeable they always make sure I have what I need and while they make suggestions (they are sales people) I have never felt pressured to buy something I don't really want to. And with the many different toys I've bought never felt embarrassed by the staff. Lastly, if you were told that you can return an item I'm sorry if you felt misinformed but coming from someone who buys outfits all the time I find it utterly disgusting that someone would even consider taking back an outfit that they've tried on. You can't try on a swimsuit without wearing your underwear underneath what makes you think you can try on underwear before you buy it, do people really try on underwear in the department store? I'm glad they have a no return policy...I certainly don't want something touching my nether regions if it's already touched...

Tried to exchange something that was wrong size and defective. It says on a receipt that you can exchange an item that is defective,but the cashier with a long dark hair said I was lying to her when the package wasn't even open,but you could tell stitching was messed up. Never coming back again and don't recommend it. Horrible and rude service, even tho store itself is good, but sale assistants are standoffish and will ask you 20 times within 20 minutes if you are doing okay. I will find other places to buy stuff online, but not coming back to put up with rude service.This.

Update: tried to call the customer service line given in response from LD bellow. Customer service rep said they only deal with online orders and I should call the store for assistance. I called the store and it turned that person who refused to do exchange for the same product and was rude about it was the manager of the store. She was just as rude on a phone and kept interrupting me. After that I just realized that I am going to stay away from this store all together.
