First I will say that Dewayne has been great to deal with in the past, strong buyers on gold coins and has worked with me on numismatic coins. I'm a collector, I've been buying and selling for 10 years and educated myself on collecting and have some formal grading skills. Every time I deal with Roger he always seems disinterested always low balls me on collector coins. Tried to pay me 15x face for nice VF walking liberty Halves, one was a 1934-S in VF and he wanted to pay me $7 for it basically. Current melt is about 22.5x face for 90%. I wonder if Rodger gave everybody that 15x deal or do I just look like a sucker? The coins I own and bring in I've bought with hard earned money doing hard work, I'll be dipped if some old man who can't see, and can't seem to care, tries to low ball me every dern time. Ive brought in 10's of thousands of dollars worth of gold and silver from my grandfather's collection, and had to pass on silver several times. Please...

Today was my first visit to Skyland C&J. I had a complicated transaction and was in the store for almost an hour. While there I watched the two employees and the owner while they worked with a half dozen customers. Each customer received friendly, professional service and fair prices. I read several reviews on here criticizing the shop. When you read those reviews, keep in mind how some people are. When people don't get what they want, they'll say anything to make folks look bad. We'll I didn't see anything bad at Skyland. I received great service and a fair price. I highly recommend Skyland C&J and I'll be doing more business with them. Thanks for reading...

I’ve been here multiple times and I haven’t been more appalled by the way the two old men treat people! A young woman was being taken care of before me and she wasn’t even out the door before the two old guys started cackling about the poor girls cards getting declined! I’m very disappointed in the fact we are supposed to respect our elders when they down play the way of the world…not everyone is thriving in the world and a lot of people don’t have the money to just go dump it around. I will not be coming back I don’t do business with rude people! You should be ashamed of yourself it was quite pathetic and unnecessary...
