The Ancient Greeks would have proclaimed this village store as nothing less than Civilization's Omphalos. For, therein can one find cookies, bread, ice cream, mouthwash, motor oil, a Post Office, knick-knacks of untold beauty, including locally woodworked toys and, yes, even milk, eggs (often local), AND a fine little grill that serves Sunday breakfast (pancakes riddled with local fruit awash in local maple syrup). And then there's carryout beer, wine, Coke, and OJ. You name it, it's got it. Even a bathroom! And indoors, too! All this and the odd music fest and a rocking chair, too, and a veranda that has been rocked by some of the most famous South Acworth poets of our generation. So, rock on, oh blip of fate, rock on beyond your 150th year serving our community of 296 folks from young, old, to real old (you can also visit our little sister town of Acworth just up...
