World Equestrian Center in Ohio. Iβve had the pleasure of stopping in for originally the Charlotte Dujardin master class , several quick stops to break up my trip to the Kentucky Horse Park, and now for the Dressage Pony Cup. I have to say, I have enjoyed myself for all of my experiences here. It can get a bit confusing as far as getting around until you have spend some quality time there. The path ways and layout made me feel a bit Winchester Mansion but it gave it some charm. I can see how that could become cumbersome if you had to get to and from quickly. I enjoyed the vendors village area and seating for relaxation. I also enjoyed that there is a chapel on the grounds for that extra pep talk with the big man upstairs. I also had the opportunity to stay in one of the cabins that was quite lovely and very convenient. You could fit 4 or more people in one of those of you double up in a couple of the beds. Has only one bathroom but when you are horse showing , us ladies know how to get it done and honestly how much time are you spending in there. Washer and dryer in the room is super helpful if you need to wash those lucky socks. The one down side was the Paddock Restaurant on the grounds. Iβve worked in hospitality so I understand how quickly a place can get overwhelmed by so many people showing up at the same time so I get it but it did make me think otherwise when getting my dinner a second night somewhere else only due to how long it took to get my meal to go. It was a rather large show I had attended. Other than that , I enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back when dressage events...

Β Β Β Read moreThis is an excellent show grounds with many extras that you don't find at a lot of equestrian venues. Most of the barns and arenas are all connected so you can walk inside from your stalls. I would give it a five except for a few things.. the barn we were stabled in at a recent ahow lost power randomly. The staff said it was because there was one large fan, although that fan had been on for 3 days before the barn lost power and afterward it was sweltering in our barn. It seemed that we had vents that were not working after the power outage nor were the ceiling fans. And although there's quite a lot of camping, there were only four shower stalls for ladies in the entire venue. In the plus side, the footing in all of the arenas had the perfect amount of moisture and was well-groomed. Starbucks on premise salon/spa and WEC gift shops plus more. It just keeps...
