Do not buy from here! I was told nothing but lies when I purchased my pup from Sugar Yorkies. First, I read on his puppy profile that his estimated adult weight was 4-6lbs. Which was going to be a perfect companion for my 6lb Chihuahua that I already had at home. When I FaceTimed Lindy she told me his current weight is 2lbs. And when I received him a few days later he was already over 4lbs!!! Why the lie? A puppy that size does not grow that fast. The vet estimates that he will be over 10lbs. That's almost double! And he may weigh even more. When I talked to Lindy about it she first said that it was his sister's weight and when I told her I had never asked about the sister's weight she said "well, that's how much he weighed when we got him" Where did you get him from? I thought he was from one of your litters? Shouldn't you know the facts about the puppies you are selling if you really cared about them?

He arrived with severe anxiety! Please don't ever use their "puppy Nanny transport service"! He was left in the crate for two days straight! No fresh air and probably no food or water either. He arrived with no collar which just shows he was never taken out to relieve himself. They left him in a crate with wood chips where he would urinate and defecate. If I had any idea that it would have traumatized him the way that it did, I would have never put that poor puppy through that. The vet said that breeders (who care about a dogs wellbeing) would not usually send a dog in a car ride that far away.

Sugar Yorkies sold me the puppy as a "Designer breed" which means both parents are 100% of their breed. My "Chorkie" is 51.4% Yorkie, 35.7% Chihuahua, 5.3% Maltese and 7.6% supermutt according to Embark DNA. That doesn't sound like pure bread parents to me.

If you care what kind of breed your getting and the well-being of your future puppy, please don’t buy from here. Nothing but...

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BREEDER.

I brought home my sweet Yorkie, Cooter, from Sugar Yorkies, and while he was the most loving companion, his life was filled with suffering due to serious health issues from the very beginning.

On his very first night home, he had a seizure. Within weeks, he experienced multiple more. Before his first birthday, he was in and out of the vet for an elongated esophagus, trachea collapse, and severe allergy issues. His bone development was poor, and even small movements led to sprains.

For five years, I rushed him to emergency vets, paid for countless imaging scans, and managed ongoing medications. Despite every effort to give him the best care, he never had a day where breathing wasn’t a struggle. His final moments were spent in an ICU, dependent on oxygen, unable to breathe on his own long enough to even attempt surgery.

Cooter was the best dog in the world and deserved so much better. His short life was filled with pain because of unethical breeding practices. I wasn’t educated about this when I purchased him, but I learned the hardest and most heartbreaking way possible.

Please, do not support Sugar Yorkies. Supporting breeders who prioritize profit over health only ensures more innocent dogs will suffer the...
