I tried to order a candle for my sister-in-lawβs birthday. This was the week before her birthday. I went through the whole order process, and it wasnβt until I received the confirmation that they disclosed it would take 14-18 business days to deliver. Since that put delivery well into the following month, I immediately emailed them back to cancel the order. I got no response, so I emailed them a second and third time, and I called them twice. No response whatsoever. Now theyβve charged my credit card, so I have to file a dispute with the credit card company. Had they responded to the first, or even the second email, I would have continued to order from this company, but clearly they arenβt responsive to their customers, so I wonβt be using them again. Had they jput some sort of flag on the website letting customers know they were backed up and delivery would be delayed, this whole mess could have been avoided.
Update: After posting this review, I reβd a phone call from the business. I was told that they didnβt receive my emails and I must have been doing it wrong. Apparently the email address at the bottom of the confirmation email is incorrect, even tho it says βfor questions reply to this email or contact us at....β. Both of which I did, but to no avail. Iβm sure the candles are nice, but they definitely need to keep the website updated. Iβve never had to read the Shipping Policies before I ordered something. Drove up from Valdosta because their boosted (paid) Facebook ads were intriguing and when you clicked βsee menuβ on their ad it showed a light lunch menu. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon we were told βwe donβt serve food here.β with no explanation even though their Facebook page clearly had a food menu on it. We wandered around the gift shop, but had no way of knowing what most things were priced as they had no stickers or labels. The candles for example were beautiful in their wooden dough bowls, but again no price stickers and there was no one available to help us. We ended up leaving and finding the most incredible Mexican food the next street over at La Mexicana Gonzalez. I would 10/10 recommend a trip to Adel for their street tacos, but Iβd skip over this place. When I left a comment on their page they quickly deleted the menus and blocked me. Totally unprofessional. There are much better options in Adel. Donβt waste your time here.
ETA : Iβm not sure who theyβre referring to, but I wasnβt there with a husband, I was there with my Mom. Their Facebook page DID have a lunch menu that was conveniently deleted after I pointed that out and there were two people in line...

When I emailed to check the status, I never got a response. I then attempted facebook messenger with a statement that I would be contacting the BBB. I got an automated response about how they were busy in the store. That's interesting b/c it wasn't even during business hours. Also, they seem to have time to comment and answer questions/comments on the Facebook feed. Then amazingly the next day the order shipped. I love floral scents and a strong throw. So, I chose country roads. It is very cloying to be honest and even when it's not burning. I really wish I had chosen a different scent for the price.
