I was a member of this gym for well over a year and honestly it is a great gym with great equipment considering the size of the valley. It was always clean and in good repair. Trouble arose when I was no longer going to be using the gym as I was not in the area enough to make it worth it. I called and talked to the front receptionist who told me that she would pass along and get my membership cancelled. She advised that if anything further was needed that I would hear from someone. Never hearing anything I assumed it had been taken care of. 6 months go by and I find out the membership was not cancelled and I am still being billed. I called and the receptionist gave me the owners name and number to call. Upon talking to him he advises that he will ensure that the membership is cancelled but will not provide any refunds due to the contract said I would provide in writing my cancellation. I understand that the contract likely states this (I have him sending me a copy) but if when you call to cancel they say "ok we will get it cancelled" then why would one think they need to do anymore???

Sad that this is their stance as I do return to the area for very extended periods and would have easily went back. But they would rather steal what they can and lose a loyal willing to return customer.

They have limited machines and could definitely expand and improve but what they do have is good (could use a good clean and maintenance). I REALLY wish they’d fix the sauna and update their cardio machines and get ab machines Edit: they DID fix the sauna! Add a tanning bed! And get new cardio equipment yay! Now if they could stop harassing customers about having muddy shoes from their muddy parking lot (just pave it)...

Would be great if they accepted corporate accounts.. huge company wants to join but they don’t want the paperwork and it Doesn’t generate enough $ they said.. Sad, people try to stay healthy, have a business account or company benefit but can’t use bc the fitness centers don’t want to do their part to join the network.. no...
