Glen Store — Local services in Aitkin

Waited 4 ever to get service for ice cream cones for kids & adults. Also wanted to get more propane for our tanks. One person working the desk / cashier and also serving as the cashier at the liquor store right next door, with people continuously coming in to pay for items - we stood there for over 10 minutes trying to get ice cream.. as the cashier didn't look even happy to see us waiting there by the ice cream area and kept taking on customers that walked through the door we decided to walk out the door and take our business elsewhere. It’s a small store, but always has a good selection of groceries. Gas prices are really good and having a bottle shop makes this a really good one stop shop for items needed for a lake stay. Place is Great, just wish it was a little bigger. Also would like to know if they have specials every night. Maybe a webpage or something. Food was good when I ate there and they are fully staffed and you will not be waiting for a beer or drink. Also has pull tabs open...
