This is under new ownership. They still serve ice cream but it’s nothing like it used to be. They can’t seem to get it right as communication is a huge barrier. It’s pointing to cones and ice cream flavors. Only thing they understand is “2 scoops that they ask”. Then the 1 scoop equals 1/2 cup. So what once was giant scoops of ice cream is now 1 cup in a huge waffle cone that barely covers the cone and I kept saying that’s not enough ice cream!!! Bad sign, he didn’t put on gloves to handle the cone nor use a napkin to wrap the cone. It’s sadly the way it is. It’s my 2nd visit with these new owners. I had to coax them to scoop more like the ladies did before these new people took over. I’m curious what’s going to happen when the ice cream cone rush comes in July. Based on my 2 recent visits customers will stop buying ice cream cones there. I’m not planning on returning anytime soon. I would if they hire the 3 ladies back. There is a sign on the door looking to hire. I can’t imagine working for them when the owners are scooping out ice cream like they have alligator arms.

Been time going here for years without a problem. Well I guess there is new ownership and the first time i went in with the new ownership, I bought $50 in bait with extremely disrespectful staff, who were crabbier and worse as I asked for more bait which would make them more money!! Two days later with a different lady, we asked for 2 dozen spottail shiners which if you have ever dealt with,will die if they are handled hard. Well the lady dropped one on the floor and we are paying $11 a dozen for them. So I ask for a different one. She dumps out all the bait and very rudely says " I've been in the bait business for over 40 years".... But she obviously has never dealt with the bait after they leave the bait store and die. My debit card doesn't work at the pumps and the place has ridiculous high prices. To make matters worse many items don't have a price on the shelf, and many if those that do will ring up higher than the price tag. A few locals told me the place was recently bought and put under new ownship and that the new owner immediately began raising prices to increase their profits. I highly recommend driving down to Isle if you can, the time spent and gas consumed to do so...
