We start at the boat launch on the trail. The trail was hard and not used a lot but very well marked. Made it to the dam and back to the first parking area you pass coming down to the boat ramp. We walk back down the road instead of finishing the trail. It was getting later then had anticipated we will come back. This is a very challenging trail. Don’t let stop you. You got this.

Fun short trail. Hiked to the lock overlook but the trees had grown in so thick you could not see anything. Also saw a decent amount of trash along the trail.

Not very crowded. Very nice place! Very friendly people work there! Highly recommended! Going back in a couple of weeks. Lots of boats. Seems to be pretty good fishing on the area. Not sure about animals. I don't think that I have ever seen one there. I'm pretty sure they at least allow service animals. Need to check online for that, and also to pre-purchase...

Nice boat launch. Stump close by as you leave the dock, besides that just make sure you can back down the long ramp. Some folks have issues with it and it’ll hold things up if busy. The 10+ times I’ve been here it’s never too...
