This was an incredible experience. My wife and I used True Adventure for a rappelling adventure for our 28th anniversary. Neither of us had rappelled before and we are weary of heights. We explained our fears to the guides and they could not have been better.

First, safety is the main focus of the whole TAS team. All items were checked and double checked. I also liked that all procedures were explained to us so we completely understood the protocols. I learned a lot about how TAS doesn't cut any corners!

I went first and was openly nervous as this is a straight down 85' cliff face. The woman that helped hook me in and explained everything (I did not get her name) was so helpful and respectful of my fear. As I started over the edge, she used a very calming voice to talk to me about things unrelated to the event which helped me. Once over the edge, it was an exhilarating event. We got to each do two drops and would certainly do it again.

Our family of 4, with 7 year old twins, just had the weekend trip of a lifetime. TAS has everything you might want. We did caving, rock climbing, repelling, a night hike with some bouldering and great views, & finished with a zip line excursion (which TAS switched out for canoeing as the river was cold). The guides (Tyler, Jonathan, & Daniel) were great. They made our kids the center of the trip, and were always patient, kind, & encouraging. We always got at least the amount of time TAS had allotted for our adventure & usually got more. We got our money's worth & then some! We also stayed at one of TAS's cabins, which was only 10 minutes from the office, nestled just across the road from a beautiful view of the canyon (2-3 minute walk). My wife and I decided to take a spur of the moment trip out of town to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. We wanted to do something off the beaten path as we are both 50ish and wanted an activity rich experience. After visiting the website we tried to book an adventure. Due to short notice on our part all adventures were full on the day we would be in town. I decided to call and the owner himself answered the phone. After hearing of our plight he arranged to take us on an impromptu adventure. Met the owner Israel Partridge and Ashley at their office. After some thorough instructions and safety briefings we were over the side of a beautiful cliff face rappelling next to a waterfall. Part of the fun was the hike back up to the top where along the way Israel introduced us to many of the trees and plants indigenous to the area. It was one of the most memorable trips we have taken.
