My key broke off in the passenger door as I tried to unlock my car. When I called the dealership they tried to quote me a total price of $140. I called A Plus Locksmithing and spoke with the owner, Eddie. He’s a super cool guy, professional, prompt, and extremely helpful. I told him my situation and he offered to do some research for me to see if my type of key needed to be programmed or just cut. I sent him a picture of my key, and he took care of it from there. He told me he had me all set up to talk with a parts employee at the dealership who would take care of me from there and then texted me the number to call and what type of key I had. The dealership then only quoted me the price of $10.90 which was way cheaper than the original $140 price they quoted me. A Plus Locksmithing never got paid for the service he provided, but that did not stop him from providing the best service he could for me. We recently purchased a home and ended up with basically no keys to anything, deadbolts or doorknobs! Plus, we needed a deadbolt to be added and we wanted everything to be rekeyed to ALL work off of one key regardless of what type of lock or whether regular doors or security doors.
