Wouldn’t recommend this. The price we paid for a guided “tour” was not worth it.(over $400 just for two people) We had only 4 girls in our ATV group led by one “guide”. Our “guide” left half our group out of any conversations if that was his very little tour he gave and was so far ahead of us the entire ATV ride. We only made 1 stop which was for a hike. Again the “guide” was so far ahead of us the entire time I slipped and fell during the hike, the guide nor half the group noticed. While they do provide water bottles our guide did forget to even give us our water bottles on our hike when it was a warmer day for hiking. Our “guide” didn’t pay much attention to us although we had less experience on ATV riding than the other two women. We have had so so much better experiences ATVing with groups like Snowhook and those are much larger groups, cost less money, and you make several stops on your actual guided tour. This felt like someone had extra ATVs they rented out and simply were there so you didn’t get lost in the forest. Very...
Read moreWe took this tour in late June 2024. It ranked very high on our long list of Alaskan Adventures. I think Bob was our tour guide. Accept the offered handkerchief to cover your nose and mouth from dust and be prepared to be covered in dust and I imagine mud if it’s raining. So worth it! The entire trail was beautiful. We were a group of 5, mostly beginners. The pace was quick, and while much of it was exhilarating but not scary, there was a fair bit of adrenaline involved. The short hike to the waterfall was nice, and although we didn’t see wildlife beyond birds, it was still a really beautiful adventure start to finish. We loved crashing through the stream bed and we only saw a few people on the entire trail, so we felt like the forest was ours. I highly recommend this adventure. We came from Anchorage and stopped at the wildlife conservation center before our tour in the afternoon. It was a very...
Read moreIncredible tour in pouring rain with Bob, he was fabulous… skilled and experienced Alaskan guide and bush pilot … he kept us safe and we experienced a close encounter with a mamma grizzly and her baby… the bear charged us twice after we stopped to watch along a river, and Bob knew when it was time for us to leave the area… more than we bargained for and worth every penny even prior to having the bear encounter! Racing thru the rivers of rushing water and first time on ATVs was a blast, more fun than any theme park we have ever been to… looking back over our shoulder for the bear afterwards added a fearful yet exciting rush you couldn’t have had anywhere…. 5/5 stars for sure pics show us on hike overlook plus the mamma grizzly about 100 feet away on the road before she charged us .. .no photos or video of the charge as we were busy getting the heck out of there when...
