So my wife called 2 weeks prior to reserve the back room and 2 bowling lanes for our sons 5th birthday party. We show up on the day of, and walk in to a bowling tournament going on. Come to find out that the tournament was just scheduled 2 days prior. Talk about poor communication and calendar management........ So after some discussion with numerous people, and a bit of adjusting our timeline for the kids events, the staff was able to free up a lane after about 45 minutes for the kids to use. Yes, it was inconvenient, but they did attempt and succeed in correcting the error. The facility is nice (it's new, so it should be) and the staff did what they could to correct...

If you're staying on Eielson the number of food options you have is limited. But the bowling alley is one of those places you should go. It's generally pretty quick to get a meal (unless its during a Red Flag) and the food is always served hot.
It's a typical bowling alley menu, i.e. burgers, pizza, and fries. I personally like getting the grilled chicken sandwich with buffalo french fries and the tomato soup. The tomato soup is actually the tastiest thing on their menu...
   Read moreThe food for lunch service was rough. Got the pulled pork sandwich and beans. It was bun with the pulled pork overflowing and bun. Then they took the baked beans and saturated the bottom bread (you couldn't see the bottom of the sandwich)and plate to the brim. We asked it be remade. They waited 10 mins and called us back. He literally put a new bun on top of the old orders sanwhich bun and said they didnt have enough to remake it. We got our money back....
