My first up close experience viewing a glacier and it was nothing short of EPIC. On the NCL Encore on a bright sunny day in early October (rare!), the Captain was able to get very close, an rotated the ship slowly so the glacier could be viewed from everyone's balcony.

We got to see and HEAR the glacier calving and bit was truly breathtaking.

I am so glad I got to experience this. It was an expensive cruise, but it was worth...
