Unbeatable customer service, impressive inventory, and outstanding experience from start to finish. My son recently became of age to drive and so our family has had a lot of rearranging of vehicles within the last 6 months. During this transition, we have visited 2-3 different dealerships and just purchased a vehicle from our local Toyota dealer prior to visiting Marthaler today. Biggest mistake we made throughout this whole process was not coming to this dealership first. I initially reached out to Marthaler from their website after seeing a vehicle I was interested in. The general manager, Chris, responded to my query quickly and was so generous with his time by calling/texting me to answer all of my questions. He went above and beyond to make sure my 2 hour drive to the dealership would be worth it. After visiting the store and purchasing our new CR-V sport today, I majorly regret not coming here first for ALL of our business.These guys know how to take care of their customers and it is unbelievably refreshing in such a brutal car market. Our salesman, Tony, was the coolest, most genuine person I’ve ever purchased a car from. He was never pushy, answered all of our questions, and super knowledgeable. There was never any high pressure sales tactics or slimy sales pitches. I’m telling you, this group is truly changing the game with their modern business model, transparency, and the amount of effort they put into prioritizing their customer’s happiness. Even Brian (AKA BriFi the finance guy) was enjoyable, professional, and fun to work with! Seriously, this dealership, it’s employees and this experience was a 10 out 10, five star, A++++ rating. (Dec 2018) I drove up from Des Moines, IA as a fresh out of college woman to look for a white CR-V(2016-2017 hopeful), having previous recommendation to meet with Mr. Mike Schuster. I asked for him at the front desk and he quickly emerged--He had me test drive a brand new beige 2018 CR-V, citing the small cost difference from 16-17 I had liked. I was fresh out of college so a little hesitant, but I took it for a ride and loved it. Mike took the time to show me the difference in prices and vehicle features based on what year I wanted, and he was able to bring my dream white 2018 CR-V in within days for me to buy! Upon my new car arriving, he sat in the passenger seat and was very detailed in describing every feature of my new car. He made sure I had zero questions about functionality when leaving for my 2 hour ride home south!
Now, it is 2022, and Mike is still working for his customers(me). As previously stated, I live in Des Moines, IA. My 2018 CR-V is now 3 years old(19k miles), and I was hit with a $700 dollar maintenance bill by my local Honda dealer(Smart Honda), and Mike immediately told me that there were some items that were unnecessary for my car's age/miles, saving me money. I wish I could do regular maintenance at Wuerflein, and am so glad my dealer is able to look out for me many years after purchase of my CR-V. Very trustworthy service/sales with Mike Schuster, and I'd send anybody to him in the future! Can't wait to buy a Pilot in 2024, this dealership is 100% worth the 2 hour drive...
   Read moreWorst customer service I’ve ever received. We purchased our 2025 van from them with a promise that they would install heated seats in the middle seats as part of the deal. We went with this dealer and purchased this vehicle due to this incentive of installing the heated seats for free. We wanted to wait to purchase the vehicle until the seats were installed but was pressured into purchasing that week and then they would install the seats at a later date. We had a we owe agreement and we specifically asked an employee if the heated seats could be installed with the seats being removable. In which he said he’d look into it. Then later told us how they would be installed. After 6 weeks of waiting they said they couldn’t do the seats. We asked for fair compensation and they were beyond rude and not willing to compensate us for not fulfilling their we owe promise and pressuring us into buying. After numerous disrespectful emails they said they would compensate us $500 tops and stated no more emails were needed. I then said I would contact BBB and miraculously in less than 24 hours they found someone to do the heated seats. We did get the heated seats installed but only because we threatened and not for 2 months after we purchased. We should’ve received other compensation for the hassle and the way they treated their customer was atrocious.
