I have attended many dirt tracks around Nebraska and this one was boarder line okay. They race Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and Late Models weekly. Racing is Friday nights @ 8PM.
The good: Veterans got in free Memorial Day weekend and the beer is cheap.
The bad and ugly: The heat races were done by 9PM and then had close to a 45 minute intermission. Usually most tracks take this time to prep and improve the driving surface. Nothing was done to it.
Then the feature races started. It took over 90 minutes to complete 5 feature races with 20 laps or less, with the largest class having less than 20 cars.
A single car would spin and bring out the caution. It then took the next 7 laps under caution to get everyone lined up correctly.
I left the track feeling very frustrated with how inefficient the track officials were and how ineffective they were in enforcing rules. Bring out 2 cautions during feature and your night is done.
