Stopped by this location due to its convenience and access to self serve vacuums. I like to vacuum the inside of my vehicle before washing the outside and Iāve used other self serve drive thru car washes that have access to do this. When I pulled up the two employees attempted to wave me over to the car wash gates. Pretty strongly⦠I pulled into one of the vacuum bays, the older gentleman walked closer to my vehicle stood in front of my Jeep and continued to point to the car wash entrance and walked away. I parked got out out and the closest employee was the younger man who approached closer and pointed to the car wash entrance again. I had got the hint but mentioned I wanted to vacuum my vehicle before I wash it. I asked if that was ok? He responded where I couldnāt hear him clearly so I got closer and asked again. He said you have to be a member to vacuum. I asked again just to be sure he didnāt misunderstand me. I said I am going to wash my vehicle but want to clean the inside first, am I not able to vacuum first and then go thru the wash. Where he again robotically said you have to be a member. I got back in my vehicle and drove to Mister car wash off 98th St where I was able to vacuum and then wash my vehicle no questions asked. I spent my $25 elsewhere. Misters wash customer service was friendly and welcoming. Champion X needs to get back to their root of Customer service. Allow people to choose what they want to use 1st. If someoneās only using your vacuum and doesnāt wash donāt penilize people who want to use your service and may become a member. With this experience I will not ever do a membership for my vehicles here at CX. Great 2nd impression Champion X. Good job on X out a customer. How much does an annual membership get you?, Iām assuming maybe $245 annually. Hmmmmm I wonder how many other memberships youāre missing out on daily in this economy with your service? Just something to consider! Iāll continue to visit businesses that trust their customers and donāt make you feel like your breaking a rule or throwing the earth off its axis for prepping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible service met with horrible management and customer service. Waited an hour after my car was washed before they attempted to dry what was left. Sprayed the interior windows and cloth ceiling of my car with window cleaner and never wiped the windows, so it all dried. They left their towel on the roof of my car when I drove off. I asked for a refund and two managers got confrontational and refused a refund, stating they dont give refunds. I asked if they would give me a free wash another day to which they refused, stating I either had to get it re-washed that day or nothing at all. I did not want to wait another hour for a second car wash, so I ended up having to leave with a car that was worse than when it went in, no refund, and no solution. Managers need some serious training in customer service. I will NEVER be using this car wash again, their quality has gone down significantly over the past year. Excuses that they are doing their best with the staffing level they have is not acceptable. If I am paying a premium price for a wash, I deserve to get a car wash that is acceptable. Asked for the district manager to call back reference the service and have not heard from that person, it has been a week since I was promised...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis car wash does its job of a convenient wash. It is the job of employees to make sure nothing is in back of trucks before going into the wash. Unfortunately, that didn't happened with my experience there. A truck in front of me had a metal dog crate in the bed of truck. Then I went in the wash and the crate was tangled in the equipment which caused my vehicle to get a big dent and scratched along the side. They were aware and stopped the wash, untangled the crate but the damage had already been done. When I exited the wash the manager already had the damage report ready for me and was told cooperate would contact me within a week. Weeks and months went by & I kept calling for updates and was told the same thing, "cooperate would be in touch." They never got in contact so I had to use my own insurance to pay for the damages because the cooperate office wasn't obviously being cooperative. I understand people make mistakes and I don't blame any of the employees or staff. But , it would of been nice if such a big cooperation would be compliant with both me and my insurance and pay for the damages. Other than that the wash is good, vacuums are good. But, just hope your car isn't damaged along the way because you will not...
