Freedom Wash — Local services in Albuquerque

Very clean carwash! I love that the carwash is gated, it prevents the homeless people from trashing the place. I usually go to the carwash down the road from this one but the line was too long so I thought I would postpone washing my vehicle until another day. Then on my way to Neighborhood Walmart, I noticed this carwash and decided to give it a try. I went through the drive thru automatic carwash and I think it did an excellent job! Good amount of soap, wax, and rinse for a very fair price. Did not leave soap on my vehicle after wash like some other carwashes do. It was 40 degrees outside and nothing was frozen, everything was functioning properly. I'm very happy and impressed with this carwash. From now on, I will be going to this carwash instead of the one down the street (which is filled with homeless people and trash). I ran through the automatic bay. It was definitely not a large bay for a full size truck, but my vehicle met the size/height to be fine. Unfortunately, it looks like the washer hit the back brake light and fender. No major damage, but there are some noticeable scratch lines and some brake light scuffs from the contact. I wouldn’t recommend the touchless bay for larger vehicles.

EDIT: I appreciate the reply. The vehicle would definitely have been in park during the wash. If there was any movement before the wash began, it was likely the vehicle drifting forward when being placed in park. Regardless, the wash does seem very tight on all sides for larger vehicles. I checked my mirrors (which were folded in) and they also seem to have scuffs from the car wash. Even if my vehicle drifted forward when being placed in park, I don’t believe that should have impacted the sensors detecting my vehicle’s width. I’m not too concerned about the minor damage, but it’s definitely a much tighter fit than many of the other automatic washes I’ve used...

Two times in these past months, paid my $14 each for freedom wash, the machine fail to provide service, call the company again after my original review, got to talk with the owner, reported the situation, have my two times wash paid refunded, he also offer me a free wash, thanks for the honesty.

Continue to come back for the wash, would recommend a couple of things, 1. The air dry for only one minute is not enough, I usually carry much remaining water home after the wash. 2.
