Traveling thru on way to Comorado with RV. Arrived about 8:30pm on a a Tuesday, and not a soul here

Well-illuminated parking area, trash receptacles, picnic tables, grills, water 3 hydrants outside should you need them.

The restrooms were very clean, and the building was heated which was nice due to the chilly evening.

This was my 1st. time that I stopped at Alexander Rest Area, and I was absolutely mesmerized! This is truly and has got to be one of the cleanest, freshest, nice-looking rest areas that I have ever visited yet! I rate this rest area 5 stars and would definitely recommend anyone who is driving by this rest area to stop in and visit it (even if it's just to get out of the vehicle and exercise your tired and sleepy feet a bit)! I have stopped here many times, and it has always been immaculate. Many thanks to the folks who take care of this place, they do a fantastic job. It's well lit, beautifully maintained and there is even a little picnic/park area, complete with covered picnic tables and BBQ grills.
