Our daughter recently had her wedding at the venue. At rehearsal (my first time meeting Mary) she came off very harsh but organized. The day of the wedding Mary was amazing. She allowed the bride and bridesmaids to arrive at 7am even though the website said 9am. Very kind of her to make the adjustment. We did not know the flower girl could not toss artificial flower petals but Mary gave us enough notice the day of the wedding to allow us to get real flower petals. Wish Mary had told our daughter a head of time about the flower petals. There was a little problem we ran into with cups at the bar and cake plates but Mary took care of everything. The guest really like the cheers stand as you walk in to grab your champagne. It was nice having a grooms cabin but I wish there was a place in the cabin for the men to hang up the suit bags. Attended a wedding here for some close friends.. beautiful country setting with a lake. Made some really wonderful pictures. A separate housing area to get dressed and prepare for the ceremony. The reception area has an upstairs and main floor. I was seated on the main floor and it seemed as when people walked above us, dust was falling from the decor hanging above us onto our table and plated food. They have a covered patio area with seating for smoking separated from the main attractions which is nice. The workers seemed to be super focused and not as personable with anyone outside the wedding party. Which might be good but didn't seem to be the friendliest or most inviting from the outside looking in. That is just my personal observation from people watching.. So far, I have attended a wedding, a craft show and even a concert at this venue! All great experiences! The barn is decorated with a rustic feel and I love how it opens up to the patios, providing both indoor and outdoor seating. One of the patios is covered. There is a little area to enjoy a campfire and the outside silo bar is pretty sweet as well! Over the hill sits a super cute little cabin on a pond with a pool table and bar for guests. Mary, the owner, is always friendly, smiling and strives to make sure her clients and guests have the best time no matter what the event is!
