I retired as a professional chef after 30+ years in Florida, moved to Deer Lodge 2-years ago, & was THRILLED to find this gem of a market in nearby Allardt! Now, if you're looking for sushi & fresh papayas, keep looking. BUT... If you want some of the BEST meat you've ever tasted, at GREAT prices, this is THE place!! (The ribeye steaks are to DIE for!)

All the basics are there, too. And it's SO refreshing not to have to walk 5-miles just to find some milk, bread, fresh produce, staples & such, like you have to do in the bigger "super stores". They also have delicious daily hot specials (including house-made desserts!) at RIDICULOUSLY low prices, so stop in for lunch or a quick take-home dinner!...

I love going into Burnett's Grocery because it's close to home. They are open early in the morning with a full breakfast in back consisting of biscuits, gravy, chocolate gravy, eggs, fried potatoes, fried chicken strips, sausage, bacon, thick fried bologna, fried apples, or, if you like, biscuits already made and wrapped full of tenderloin, bologna, egg and cheese, bacon, sausage, the works!
