I took a day off so I could be home for a package that needed a signature. Tracking says it should be here by the end of the day. 4:35 PM I decide to check the tracking status. It says an attempt was made to deliver but nobody was home. I was home the whole time and never heard a knock at the door. I checked my door and there was the delivery tag. I called FedEx and asked if the driver could stop back. It was only no more than 10 or 15 minutes later and I live in a rather populated area so maybe there was a chance he was still local and able to deliver. Nope. The best they could do was deliver it to a local office and I'd have to pick it up on a Saturday. If that didn't work, they wouldn't be able to deliver until the next business day which would be Monday. So my valuable package would need to sit in a warehouse over the weekend. No way. I opted for the pick up option. An of course in true Fed Ex fashion, they couldn't give me an estimate as to when the package will be at the pickup location. So now I have to wait around all day on Saturday for a phone call and waste my time picking up a package that should have been delivered to me today by some ninja driver that didn't know how to knock and vanished into thin air. I'd love to say I'd use UPS for all my shipping needs but some vendors only use Fed Ex. I don't know how this company stays in business. I hate...

They owned up to the fact that the driver made a mistake and shouldn't have handled it the way they did. They also gave me the number to contact to local building directly instead of reaching out to customer service. I appreciate the transparency and willing to adjust my review from 1 to 4 stars.
Original review: Fedex driver drove up my lane pulled, into my driveway, did not get out to drop anything off and left. I called later to confirm that I was getting this package and somebody on customer service said I would be getting it by 8:00 p.m.. I hung up with them and the notification updated immediately saying they tried to deliver it which was a lie. So now I don't get my package until tomorrow. I called customer service again to figure out why I wasn't getting it by 8:00 p.m. Even though I was told I would and they said they tried to deliver it which again was a lie. This also didn't need a signature so there shouldn't have been an "attempt" it should have just been delivered. I hate when I don't get the option to...
Read moreNot sure which this one is, im a Linehaul driver. Most smaller terms are good, larger ones are busy and complicated. Lewisberry location is a disaster and disorganised for a hub.
Colo is organised, they have a huge lot for outbound and a lot for inbound. Both pups and 53s are there. Dolly pen is easy to find. Hooking pups at colo is decent.
Binghamton ny is too new to fully document. It was easy to do your thing. Yard dogs everywhere are most helpful.
165 term is good too. 438 term is organised for a larger term, plus its new. Always gotta wait for a trailer.
441 term is a disaster its small to hook pups up. Dolly pen is outside main complex where bobtail parking is. My first time there was very confusing. The yard dog was most helpful. Its one of my least favourite terms. Lewisberry is another least favourite term, awkward to dangle my feet out the open door when wheels are chocked by security. Um ok... only place does this so far.
Rochester NY term was easy to do. In and out,the term closes at a certain time. There is nobody to contact especially on a weeknight and weekend.
Franklin term is like...
