We went to Pine Ridge for bridesmaids dresses for my sister wedding. When going to try dress on it was discouraging because in bigger sizes they don’t have all the potential dress to try on. The dress I wanted to try on the biggest it can in was a 6 and the associate just told me to pick another dress. It’s like they assume only certain size people should have certain dresses. I had to go with another dress because I didn’t have another option. We were told that to make sure all the dress were the same color they had to be ordered at the same time and 4-5 before the wedding. All the dress were ordered by November for an end of April wedding. We hadn’t heard anything about our dress so I called mid-February. The first time I called no one answered the phone so I left a message but no one ever called me back. So I called again a few days later and was told our dress had shipped and would be at the shop in 2 weeks. 2 weeks rolled around and I hadn’t heard anything from them so I called again. The lady on the phone said she couldn’t open her email but she believed she had an email saying they were in route. A month after my initial phone call where I have been told numerous times our dresses were on there way, my sisters furniture mother-in-law stopped at the store to see what was going on with our dress because now at this point we hadn’t been able to get anyone at the store to answer the phone or call us back, the associate told her rudely that she had no idea where our dresses are and we should just go somewhere else. There were 5 weeks until my sister’s wedding and they had no idea where our 4 bridesmaids dress and my mom’s mother of the bride dress are. I called to confirm that what my sister’s mother-in-law was told was correct because I was astonished that a reputable bridal shop would respond like that. I was told there was nothing she could do but refund our money and we could go elsewhere because there was nothing she could do to help us because “she can’t make dresses appear out of thin air”. The owner could have cared less that she was about to lose our business. I never felt so unappreciated as a customer as I did talking to her. I would suggest if you are looking for a bridal shop that values you as a customer go to Formalities...
Read moreI got my wedding gown here this past summer. My first impression was that I wouldn't be treated nicely, because when I first went and didn't have an appointment I was not permitted to try on gowns. I figured okay, I get that. When I went back for my appointment to try on I was treated wonderful! The staff assisted me with my vail, head piece, shoes, even my jewelry! Everything matched, and my day was perfect! My gown was soooo elegant as we're the many visits that followed my first visit! They all worked together! Yes my gown was pricey, but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for! I had visited other shops...ex David's bridal and I felt like I was at Wal-Mart looking for a gown. I refer all of my friends now getting ready for their own wedding there hands down!!! I will go back for any formal event I might have! I thank all of the staff! Don't let a bad first impression turn you away! They are busy because in my opinion they are the best in this rural small town area! If you want to drive to pittsburgh for the same type of gowns do so, but it is not necessary! Wonderful and amazing that's all I can say! They even asked that I show them pictures after my big day, which of course I honored that request! They shared my excitement, and that...
Read moreIf I could leave at zero stars, I would. Due to my work schedule I am unable to set appointments ahead of time, because I never know when I’m going to be called into work. It is very rare that I have any time off, especially in the mornings. I went to Pine Ridge on a Saturday morning around 1030, and there was nobody there other than the staff. I got to the door the door was locked, with a number on the door to call for appointments. So I called the number just to let them know that I wanted to look around to see what they had available, not necessarily to try anything on. (I’m not shopping for a wedding dress which would take assistance). I got a lady that answered the phone and asked if I had or wanted to set an appointment. I told her that I was unable to set appointments ahead of time due to not knowing you knowing day to day what my work schedule will be like. Her response to me was “Well I guess we can’t help you then,” and hung up on me. That’s not a way to do business with people. This is not the Pine Ridge bridal that I remember from years ago. They’ve obviously changed to caring more about their business than their customers. I highly suggest that you go someplace else more centered around their customers than their own...
