River Adventures — Local services in Allensville

We had been trying to get in with Sunshine Adventures, but they’re too rude to return calls, texts or emails from any of us. So to say the least, we are SO happy we found this gem of a place that has top notch customer service, ease of transport and tubing and great quality of tubes etc. You’ll feel super warm and fluffy if you get sweet Mel to help you into the river. Highly recommend renting an ice chest and at least one paddle to help navigate you down the river. Oh, and water shoes NOT flip flops, and a waterproof Bluetooth speaker to listen to sweet music as you’re floating. They will connect all tubes together so you can go down together and chat, rock out, drink, and just have fun. Short ride from parking lot to tubing. Can reach bottom in most areas and some beach areas along the way to stop and relax in the shade. About a 2.5 hour float. We had the best time! Definitely going again! People running the place was very nice and made the whole process easy and casual. The tubes used have nice neck rests for a relaxing float down the river. Lasts about 2.30-3 hours. Tips: Can’t stress this enough: wear swim shoes! Flip flops are not the best option- very likely to lose one. A couple people in our party went barefoot, to their extreme regret. There is some natural debris, like fallen trees and big rocks, that you may need to move around. First time there today with family group of 5. One tube got punctured had to stop a couple of time to inflate by mouth. We was about 20 minutes late getting back due to never being there before or knowing where we was on the trip. Staff showed up being extremely rude after we apologized for being late they wasn’t trying to hear it and to the point of trying to pick a fight in parking lot. Very very unprofessional and extremely uncalled for. Never again will me or anyone I know be back there to them nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.
