Three weeks I was looking at a tc muzzleloader. Asked repeatedly if it was loaded. I was assured that it was not. Used a flashlight to see down the bore, and touch hole. Couldn’t see light. They had me blowing in the barrel to see if air would come out. The gun was is good shape so I purchased it. After I got home I was going to clean it like I would after purchasing any used firearm... come to find out the gun was actually loaded. Yes, it was loaded and the staff was having me blow air down the barrel... I later take the gun to the range to fire it and unload it. I was able to shoot the gun 3 times before the trigger mechanism broke.

Fast forward to today...I go into the shop explain everything that happened and the only response was that I should be able to get the parts at the log cabin in Lodi. Not once did I get any sort of apology for having their(at the time) loaded gun in my face. Needless to say I will NEVER go in that shop again, nor would I recommend that...

I have stopped in Runzo's a few times over the years, the most recent was to look at knives, fishing equipment and archery. Runzo's is a very nice store with a large variety of hunting and personal firearm or archery devices. I'm not an expert in any of these items, but I have a interest in collecting knives. I don't hand out 5 stars review often, as I'm very critical of customer service. Runzo's deserves 5 stars.

The knife selection was small but they did have quality Buck knives for sale. There was plenty of archery related stuff, bows and targets. There is also ammunition for many different firearms.

The staff was very helpful and I had two different employees come up to me and help me. There were several other employees that were helping customers, it's usually a busy store.

Great place and great value for all of your Hunting and Shooting needs. I'm extremely thankful to have a place so close to home to stock up on my ammo, hunting accessories, and my couple a year new toys for my safe! Mike, Drew, and the rest of the staff have always been very courteous and welcoming within the close to 13 years that I have done business with them. From my personal experiences I really don't know how you can leave a bad review..... No I'm not a paid spokesperson either. Although Mike if you would like to give me one heck of a discount on my next firearm I will not stop you from doing so :) Keep up the good work and I will be seeing...
