This was the best local “handicraft” shop in the Houghton area. This place is an amazing shop full of mostly hand made crafts, artistic pieces and a few souvenirs. The shop only allows locals from the neighboring area to display there arts and crafts there. There are over 125 local artists with pieces displayed for sale here. Something for everyone can be found here. From a ship made of driftwood to hand made wood carvings and crochet pieces to pictures to painted pieces to homemade candles to Yooperlites can be found here. All items are priced reasonably too. This place has the most beautiful grandma who works there! Inside joke with the employee lol...I am not sure if anyone reads these- But I stopped in here on a rainy day and the woman working here was so informative. I told her I was on a solo tent camping trip and she gave me suggestions of stuff to do near and not so near. If she sees this- Tell her I took her advice for checking things on my way through Wi!
