Updated Review: Still 5 Stars! The long-term customer service on my system I purchased is amazing. THIS is why I have sent other customers here! I highly recommend Taylor's Audio! I bought a 2021 Toyota Tundra 1794. I was truly disappointed in the factory "premium" sound system. I was hoping for an upgrade, but it had to be "no show" and reasonably priced.

After trolling the Tundra forums, I heard lots of positive feedback about Tech12Volts. I discovered a customer who had just installed the upgraded amplifier and subwoofer system in the identical truck I have, and he lived very close to me. One quick demo and hearing how easy the installation was, and I was sold.

I ordered my kit, and it arrived in a timely manner. The materials were high quality, and the box was nicely finished. Installation was straight forward, and all the wiring was pre-terminated with nice connectors (except for the sub, which I added simple banana plugs). This was a huge time saver for me!

I had some intermittent noise, and I did not know what was causing it. James was very responsive to calls and emails. He talked me through checking the ground and other connections and sent out some replacement connectors just in case. It turned out to be one of the RCA connectors that was causing the noise. It was a manufacturing issue with the connector, not the wiring job.

Where do I start? I reached out to JRT in May with questions on upgrading the audio in my 2016 Tundra DC. What a gentleman! one question I asked him was regarding 2 10"s over 1 12" woofer. Since I'd be losing my storage bin. Instead of telling me to go with the 2 10"s and making more $ off of me he advised me to go with the 12" because it will hit hard and cleaner. Talk about integrity! From that point on I was sold. He answered all my emails in a timely manner and kept me up-to-date on the progress of my order. When I received everything I was very impressed. He thought of everything, no hiccups whatsoever. I even made a mistake regarding the color of my carpet and reached out to prior to receiving the box. Even though the box was a different color when I received it, it was still a perfect match for me and my truck. I reached out to JRT and gave him some input regarding the box being the wrong color but still being very impressed with the whole experience and what he would recommend for dash speakers. Without hesitation he said he would build a new box the correct color and send it to me. WOW!!! I told him it wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated. He did however send me all new dash speakers on the arm which made a system that was already great, AMAZING! I'm located in New York and cannot give enough praise to his business practices. I will proudly vouch for and praise JRT @ Taylor's Custom Audio (tech12volts.com) They are masters when it comes to 3rd Gen Tundra's with JBL Premium head units! I have a complete system from James and the Crew @ Taylor's Audio using the "factory JBL Premium head unit". The Toyota JBL head unit retains "ALL" of its features and integrates perfectly … with a Toyota factory appearance.

This "recipe" from James Randy Taylor is completely "Stealth" as you cannot see ANY of the components. (be sure to paint your door speaker mounts black prior to installation) Where the package shines is the volume knob! The sound is incredible, clean and has plenty of bass.

If you’re wondering if you should invest in their Complete Tundra Package .......... forget about it And Just Do IT !
