I was in this place for the first time today 2 Nov 15, I was looking for a part and just googled 'computer repair', this place popped up and as I was close I stopped in.

Well I was surprised, the owner took the time to hear my story because I wasn't sure exactly what I needed, but as we talked it became clear that he knew what I wanted and lo and behold, he trots to the back of the store and comes back with the device I needed, factory wrapped, explained how it worked and what I needed to do. YAY! No waiting for Amazon delivery, and the price was less then a dollar difference then online. Double YAY!

It's a small shop, not flashy, kind of tucked away, parking in front, but the owner was helpful which makes a huge difference for me, especially if you go to somewhere like Best Buy where the sales clerks may not know as much or even what you're talking about.

I would recommend giving them a try, if they have what you need, fine, if they can't help you, then a polite thank you all the same and go...

If the maintenance period needs several days, it is not recommended to repair your laptop in this place. Even if it has to be repaired ASAP, please take a picture of your laptop configuration. I took my laptop to this store，and it took them bout a month to repair it, and when I got it back, I found that my original 16GB ram had become 8GB. The shopkeeper might say, "we don't have relevant maintenance records here." of course, I don't think anyone would like to say this bad thing in their real identity in a shop that gives them a bad experience

*Good, look at their response, “We could not find your name”. Just like what I said, they even can not find another excuse lol. Anyway don’t waste your money and...

I have had nothing but positive experiences. The owner is extremely fair on pricing and the turnaround time is absolutely amazing. I am a software engineer so i expect things done to a very exacting standard and in each and every case the work has been performed above and beyond all expectations. Some of the items that i have had fixed are: old gaming computer retrofitted lenovo ideapad yoga 13 screen and keyboard replaced child's laptop evaluated and looked at for replacement. 4.samsung galaxy s7 screen replaced iphone 6s screen repalced.

Byte-tech replaces all phone screens, mac books, tablets etc. I am newer to salt lake city and i consider myself lucky to have found this...
