Dr Kennedy misdiagnosed 2 of my dogs. One I was told she had arthritis when she first started slowing down. He had us put the dog on joint supplements. Dr. Kennedy didn’t do the correct diagnostic testing to find out what was really wrong with her when she was getting seriously worse with symptoms starting a few years before as mentioned, before she started failing quickly. When she started failing to the point where nothing Dr. Kennedy was doing was helping her and he did not seem to have a definite cause…I took her to a different veterinarian who diagnosed her with pneumonia, showed me X-rays of her lungs showing that… then did an ultrasound and other testing which showed this dog had liver cancer and that it had been going on for a long time as most of her liver showed as eaten away in the ultrasound. I looked back at blood results Dr. Kennedy did of that dog and it indicated her liver enzymes were abnormally high yet he was not concerned and didn’t not mention to me he was. That dog passed away less than a month our last appointment with Dr. Kennedy after which I started seeing the new vet and by then it was too late to do anything to prevent her from passing. Dr. Kennedy seriously had misdiagnosed her for at least a few years. Then he treated my other dog’s constant eye issues as pruritis, giving us prednisone and clavamox to treat her when her eye problem flared up, That went on for a few years and during that time, this dog kept rubbing her eye. Our groomer noticed the dog’s issues and told me to have Dr. Kennedy check her mouth to see if she had any bad teeth on the same side of the eye that kept getting infected, to see if that was causing the eye problem. I then took this dog in to Dr. Kennedy for an appointment to tell him the groomer thought it was worth looking at the teeth to see if there were bad ones causing an infection in the dogs eye…he refused to do that and said that was not the issue and gave her more clavamox and prednisone. When I changed veterinarians due to my other dog’s situation as mentioned, the new veterinarian we saw with the other dog, looked in this dog’s mouth to find that she in fact had some bad teeth on the same side where the eye was getting infections and having issues…hence the cause of that issue…That dogs bottom lid is so damaged from her rubbing it for the years DR. Kennedy had misdiagnosed her, that she is prone to infections now and just had to have surgery on it. If the results of the surgery aren’t successful…she will lose her eye. This is due to Dr. Kennedy’s misdiagnosis and if he would have thought to look in her mouth, the eye issue would have been resolved when she first started getting the infections while seeing him. Dr. Kennedy was told of the serious mistakes he made with my 2 dogs and I’m surprised he continues to practice….He needs to retire before he makes serious mistakes like he did with my dogs. My family and I cannot...
Read moreI know they are not taking new clients so this doesn’t matter but I feel people should know that Dixie told my mom not to bring me to say goodbye to my beloved cat princess that I rescued and who was my soulmate when she had to be put to sleep because I had acted too hysterical in the past when we had to put another one of our beloved pets to sleep. For people who work with animals you would think that she would understand that they are just more than pets they are family. And obviously clearly someone who doesn’t understand grief at all. Also encouraged my mom not to try alternative treatment at UF animal hospital. Would give zero star rating if I could. Robbed me of my only chance I’ll ever have to say good bye to my baby and I will never forgive...

No thank you for being horrible! This brand new puppy is not eating! Wow is all I can say for a vet clinic. Horrible horrible! I’m glad you have your hands full with your establish patients because you seem so pleasant and you love animals so much yet you can’t fathom some decency to help with this puppy that’s...
