Smith's Supermarket — Local services in Altha

Nice friendly store to pick up odds and ends from. Prices are good and employees are very friendly, respectful, and helpful. Today was a bit aggravating, due to only one register running, despite the 3 other customers (incl me), waiting in line. Woman getting checked out had a buggy full of items, yet 2 other employees were ignoring the issue of customers holding armloads of groceries. After the other employees were made aware that the customers had seen them, one finally came over to ring up other customers. By this time, there were 6 or 7 in line. Again, this count is including me....may have been an off day, due to the weather, or other factors that I'm unaware of. Super friendly employees, best butcher, meat and meat prices around. Clean store, great selection of in-stock groceries, grocery items, fresh fruits and veggies, household items and even pet items. They're price +10%, which makes some things a little more expensive than store like the DG, WD, and walmart, but it's worth it to not have to go all the way into a bigger, busier store and to have the friendly, local,...

Smith's is a local market in an area where there are not many stores or many people for that matter.

The staff is very friendly, and they have a large selection of products and foods. From personal experience I can say that the butchers are very skilled.
