American Fork Boat Harbor — Local services in American Fork

We use the Am.Fork harbor alot during the summer months to launch our boat and have family parties on the beach area. However its only because it's close and convenient. Its poorly maintained. The remodel they did for the beach is a joke absolutely terrible. It's all torn up with dirt piles and sticks all over the place. The water is of course yucky, but we can deal with that. It's the day area that's the issue you can't walk on the lake floor without getting hurt. There isnt much room for crowds, no picnic tables or pavilions available for day use. I wish the city would put more effort into making it nice for residents and more appealing...

I really enjoyed walking along the river by the grass and picnic tables. The sound of the rushing river in the spring was relaxing. The beach is small, but still a really pretty beach with the large trees and the sand. The variety of birds I see everytime I hang out at It's lake surprises me. Last week I saw a flock of Pelicans fly over my head. Some of the other beach entrances were not as pretty, but when sunset comes it is more about the sunset views. I was surprised that it is ok to build a fire here and hang out on the shore and watch the sunset. I will definitely have to do...

Great place to share with family and friends, the beach have all seats, and parking , perfect place in American fork for one...
