Groovy Little Toy Store — Local services in Amherst Township

Over the last year that I have been to this store- from what I understand- there have been a lot of customers that have been displeased with this establishment. So have I to some respects and here's why. First of all- the former staff that was let go- they got their jobs back and from what I could tell- they were being very rude to the customers- myself included. Second- there is the threat of black mold inside their store because when you walk in- you can sense it right away and you can smell it. Second of all- I bought a model ship for $80- because it was an older type of product from when I grew up. When I got the model home- the main battery compartment was completely destroyed and was a hazard to keep. So I through out the model- but I was able to restore the original one I with the decals and the extras that came with the set I bought. So- I was able to have the last laugh after all. So folks over all- here's the main point- AVOID this store. By rights- they should be shut down- not only for the prices which are uncalled for- but also- I am sure that no one after being in their establishment would want black mold in their house after being there. Be on watch folks. UPDATE- The last time I was in here recently with my wife- the store was very unorganized and was an outright mess and various sections were closed off to shoppers and the public. This business needs to be shut down or the premises severely renovated. It is really sad to see what has happened to this place. Enjoying reading all these sarcastic 5 star reviews. Went in this morning and pulled a 3 dollar figure out of the 3 dollar bin and when we took it up the figure went through several hands because “prices get changed and stuff gets moved around on accident”. By the amount of stock that sits on the shelves here idk why they wouldn’t just take my money. You know you have to train your staff on how to do their jobs right? In case you didn’t go to business school (like I did lol) you should know the prices on the items you’re selling. Also aggressively following people out of the shop after not buying a figure and dealing with your incompetent employees and then yelling at them at them probably isn’t good for business ( you wouldn’t know you didn’t go to business school lol). Anyways bad shop. Bad prices. Bad staff. The store is unorganized, the prices are over inflated and they will scam you if you do not pay attention. I have gone in the store and purchased vintage Lego sets more than once and both times when I asked if they had the minifigures or set accessories to go with the set they said no. Later as I returned to the store I found they had kept the minifigures and set accessories and we're trying to sell them separately again for an over inflated price on there own. In fact last I checked months after one of my purchases they were still trying to sell minifigures they had scammed me out of. Along with those bad experiences I have also purchased sets that I was told were complete, after I returned home I found that they had used mega blocks and other non-lego products to fill the inside of the set where you are unable to see them unless you disassemble the set.
