Being from out of town, I was looking forward to this beautiful course (as shown online). The course itself seemed decent but it could really use a few ball washers, trash cans & places to discard broken tees. The electric lines are a buzz kill & I do not remember those in the online videos. The course seemed to zig zag underneath them. The back 9 was crowded. Close quarters between holes. I was disappointed in the cart which was dirty & had no amenities. Would it be so hard to have a cooler? The last course I played even put ice in it for us! The customer service of the guy checking us in could have cared less about us. I was prepared for a slow pace of play after seeing the reviews but being backed up made 18 holes 5 hrs & 20 min which I see is pretty average for this course. The best part of the day was the 2 we were paired with... Ron & Paul, you made our day great! Thx! Unfortunately, I will not return to this course. There are so many better choices out there.

The course is in great condition throughout. The greens play true, but not super fast. It has been many, many years since I was a semi-regular patron at Anaheim Hills, and the course has held up well. Arbitrary regulations have kept the divot mix containers off the carts, but now that the CDC has clarified that the virus does not live on surfaces and is not spread by surface contact, maybe we can get some divots fixed, some ball washers, and rakes back where they belong. Look forward to having Anaheim Hills back in the rotation.

Yep 5 Stars for an old buddy I haven’t played in 30 years. Played last here back in the 80’s before I moved away. One thing about this course no two holes are even close to being similar. Downhill, uphill, dogleg lefts, doglegs right, straight, risk/reward holes. It’s all here for the taking. The conditions are good for what little water SoCal has. Definitely a good track for the variety. Pace of play was good for Tuesday mid morning. Just a tick over 4hrs. It was fun seeing on old friend again. Thanks

Great Course, and just horrible and rude pro shop management. I drove 1.5 hour to play on July 25th for 11:10 am tee time, and pro shop ran my credit card but he pushed the wrong button by being upside down on their machine, and asked what happened, and the young blond hair guy said, it was SPAM card, in front of my group, and ran my credit card again on the separate portable machine, and printed out the receipt, and even though he was rude not answering my question about SPAM card and he was young, and learning, I decided to let it go, and I checked my credit card on Bank of America next day, they ran twice as showing pending transaction and left the message to investigate so the Manager named, Natnum, called me back and kept on saying at least 10 times it was due to declined card and do not have a record yet due to pending transaction, and he was making the assumption on customer's credit card again just like the young guy. If it was declined, why shows duplicated transaction ? He was rude just like his first employee and just repeating that card was declined. I hang off the phone and will dispute it later on my charge. Great course, but terribly rude management and needs to train the employee's what to say to own customer who pays...

It's been years since I played the old Anaheim Hills course. If you complain to the condition and how long it takes to play 18 holes. One thing to remember with this course is there. It's a lot of hills a lot of up and down walking and you have to have a car today. They may allow walking but you could walk. Everyone should take a cart. Maybe that's what causes. It's a slow play cuz people don't take a cart? Anyways, in Orange County in terms of just views and a lot of different types of holes right? Possible to drive off par 4 and so forth? There's no other course other than Tiejeras Creek in Orange County that I can think of that has the variety of holes that this course has, especially for the cost. Especially the back nine is really really difficult. I was happy if I shot under 100 here and I didn't...
