The Jolly giant flea market is a treasure hunt that's for sure. The outside tables along the edge of the cement wall is where you're going to find your newer stuff. that's closest to the parking lot. and most of the good stuff in general as you go closer to the inside you're going to see tables of the same old junk. these vendors have been there for decades it seems like . the stuff has a layer of dirt on it so you're going to want to stick to the outer tables for the fresh stuff . but don't discount that dirty junk . because you never know you might find something you actually need and after all that's why we go to these places for the treasure hunt. And don't get lost in the treasure hunt sometimes this place brings creepy people out so keep an eye on your kids and your wallet not saying you'll have problems . but you never now. It's a dollar to get in so there is a cover charge and there are places to get food and beverages Within....... and bathrooms towards the back. You actually have to go try to find them they're not easy to find. . . They are updating some of the shops that are built in the center so it's always changing. So if you go this month and wait a few months and then go again you never know what you'll find that's kind of the good thing about this place. you see some of the same old junk but you see a lot of new stuff to that keeps it interesting. so if you're in the mood for a treasure hunt don't discount the Jolly Green Giant...
Read moreAll of the vendors are extremely nice, it's a fun place to sell your stuff. I've been going there for the last 6+ years on weekends selling items with my kids. For the most part the items we are selling are valued much higher then what we sell them for. The reason for this is that I want it to be a good experience for my children so they can learn the correct way to interact when doing business with the public. We always make sure we sell people quality items, and we never sell junk items or anything that has been broken. Lots of our items have never even been opened. Over the last few years I have noticed a major decline in the amount of people that have come out not only to sell their item's but the people that come there to purchase them as well. Every business goes through changes at some point and since I'm only there one day during the weekend, I have not seen or felt the changes much. The one thing I have noticed is that as the people stop coming to purchase things the price stays the same or has gone up for what they charge you to sell items there. So as the owners lose business by making their mistakes and people stop coming they penalize the people that come there to sell things. Now that doesn't seem right! But, I guess if your basically the only game in town you can make your own rules and if people want to play they are left with no choice but to...
Read moreThe main stores that are there are wonderful but compared to what it was like when I was younger even in my early twenties and going there which was like 20 years ago I had even what it was like 15 years 10 years ago it's just not the same a lot of it now just seems like a lot of run-down yard sale stuff there are still some wonderful Treasures in there and I haven't been there in years and it's still worth it to me to go down there to see those places but it's a shame that some of the stuff is just I mean it's just boxes of cred stacked and stacked and stacked and stacked and it's just a shame to see people not treating it the way that they should but again the main businesses that are still there throughout the place are wonderful and they're enjoyable and we found a lot of great things it's the other stuff that makes it to where not as many people would want to go there anymore or...
