I have a gripe with the ticket booth venders.
So, learning the mistake about not having my ticket, this time I go up (with ticket in hand) so that I could come back in.
The woman goes "It's $1 for a ticket".*
I said (with ticket clearly visible) "Yes, I have mine here so that I could come back in".*
Instead of acknowledging that, see goes "Did I give it to you?"* with such annoying subtle attitude.

I subconsciously said "yes", and while there where no problems, it did dawn on me 15 seconds later just what a slightly rude question that was. Like, where else would I have gotten it!? Cuba!?
Anyway, great flea market, lots of good stuff, and the $1 entry fee is WELL worth it!...
Read moreIt's a very nice flea market. I've been going for many years! A lot of regular vendors. Feels like a lot of yard sales lined up in a row. It's free to park, and $1.00 to get in. It gets hot because it's out in the open and since it's mostly outside it's weather permitting. Although they advertise that they close at 3, a lot of vendors start packing up around 2, earlier if it's too hot or on the verge of rain. So go early!! I have gotten a ton of things I cherish from this flea market. Several engraved rings, a kitten, a...
Read moreThe Andover Flea Market always surprises. The drive there is small towns and farms. Scenery. It's a great getaway from hustle and bustle. The market is never the same outside. There are "regulars" who vend there, but many show up just for a weekend. The merch is everything from vintage antiques to toys for all ages. Vinyl LPs and comics for nerds like me. Things that take you back to a better era. There are refreshment stands to staunch the heat. The lemonade is terrific. There are also farmers market produce stands. Everything and anything and something else. It's a great walk and a lot of friendly conversations. Check it out on weekends through the fall. Lord knows what...
