My favorite place to get peaches locally (among other produce.) The peaches in the retail stand are large, fresh, beautiful and ripe. The workers take extra care to sort them so you don't get a bad one. In the fall I always get Jonathan apples here, they're a perfect balance of sweet/tart, my favorite. Our friends make the drive to Flamm each year from Bloomington & bring us back peaches. On 7/20, we picked up 25# from their delivery truck at TSC in Springfield. Price was $38 + tax. They also have extra 25# boxes & smaller bags available for walk-up customers. These peaches are perfection! Big selection of apples at extremely inexpensive prices! Orchard fruit doesn't taste like it's been soaking in chemicals like other big name orchard fruits do. Prices definitely warrant a trip from St. Louis! There are no wagon tours through the orchard but you are able to order pie and other desserts.
