Pruett's Food — Local services in Antlers

Last week our church had placed an order of over 100 pieces of chicken 🍗 for a special event we were having at the church. We had placed it approximately two weeks prior to the event and were picking it up at 10:30am the morning of. That particular morning the electricity was out for several in the area, including Pruett’s. Instead of them leaving us in a bind, their electricity did not come back on until around 9am, the Assistant Manager in the Deli, Erica, contacted the Hugo Pruett’s, asked them to make it, went and picked it up and brought it back so we could pick it up at 10:30am that morning at Antlers Pruett’s.

I believe Pruett’s went out of their way to ensure that we, as customers, could have our order for our church event. Buddy, the Manager, also ensured me they would make sure it would be wrapped well so it would stay warm and Sharadyn in the Deli had very good customer service as well.

This place is disgusting. On numerous occasions I have purchased food from here to get to the house and find out it is spoiled or moldy. Not because it is out of date or anything like that, but because it isn’t handled and stored properly by the store. Their bathroom today looked like an overturned porta potty and smelled like one too. I saw two employees go through this bathroom and not even attempt to address it. That on top of employees just standing around and talking instead of working shows that the franchise just doesn’t care about cleanliness and safety. When I called to speak with management after getting home with moldy “frozen” food AGAIN the response I got was “well thank you for your input” in a smart snappy tone that said go screw yourself. They have a good selection of food! But poor customer service.. me and my wife came into town to by groceries for my disabled mother.. Who recently had a stroke! As we walked in a woman named tori was texting on her phone waiting behind the counter.. I feel if your at work your there to work.. Anyway, that wasn't the problem.. I make plenty of money and the girl tori caught up with us while on break and followed us around the store like we were stealing from them.. I got an attitude right off the bat and tried to beat it with kindness.. It's bad that people here don't treat customers well. I'm just glad i was able to buy my sick mom som food.
