We had the best experience at Hoa’s Nursery, and I can’t recommend this hidden gem enough!

We were warmly welcomed by Hoa (pronounced “W-ah”) and her husband Ed. Hoa took the time to personally show us around her beautiful nursery, sharing her expertise and pointing everything she had. She showed us several items on our wish list, and things we’ve never heard of!

The highlight of our visit was trying a miracle berry, which Hoa generously offered. It was such a fun and unique experience—completely transforming our taste buds so that even the sourest flavors tasted sweet! Afterward, she let us try one of her fresh lemons, and I devoured the entire thing (and I’m someone who doesn’t even like lemon slices in my water!).

Ed also pointed out Calamadin’s that Hoa makes a mean mixed drink with. They are also very sour, and we purchased one along with a miracle berry bush!

Hoa’s kindness, warmth, and deep knowledge make her nursery a must-visit. This place is a true treasure in Apopka, and I’ll be recommending Hoa’s Nursery to everyone I know. Thank you, Hoa, for an amazing...

My wife and I are fruit tree enthusiasts, and we had the pleasure of visiting Hoa's Nursery. The selection of plants, fruit trees, etc, was terrific. This is a husband-and-wife show, and both of them were so attentive. I've never felt so welcomed at a nursery. They had multiple customers come in while we were there, and some repeat customers; we will also be repeat customers based on how we were treated. This may be a weird way to put it, but I've never met a busy, attentive person. These two were busy with other customers, but at no time did we feel like we weren't being paid attention to. I am so happy I found this place! They have all types of plants and fruit trees. Everything you can think of. I was looking for a Wurtz avocado tree and finally found it here. I must say it was not just buying fruit trees, it was an experience just walking through this beautiful nursery. All their plants were so lush and healthy. Everything was literally fruiting even in small containers. They were very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and gave me so many tips on caring for my plants. I left feeling so happy and wanting to go back already on my way home. You really have not experienced a garden nursery until you go to Hoa's Nursery, speaking from my experience.
