The Get Outpost — Local services in Apple Valley

Josie the girl with black hair and tattoos was on a power trip. When I checked in I wasn't told about no fires in the morning but when I was told I put it out immediately. 10 minutes later she calls me to tell me we are being kicked out early and is demanding for us to leave immediately. My wife is still sleeping in the tent and this is our first time to visit the national park. While making breakfast we can see Josie staring at us from across the way for the next several hours. Young guy comes over to check on us at 11:08 to let us know if we are still here by 11:30 we will get charged a late fee. We go inside the store to get our coffee, drinks and browse for souvenirs. Josie starts yelling at us that we should have been gone a long time ago and is adamant that we have to pay the late fee. We told her the guy said 11:30 and she then tells us that he doesn't even work there. I asked her if she treats everyone this way because there's no need to treat people this way for being 5 minutes late to check out. I agree to pay the late fee so we can just pay for our stuff and leave but I let her know we would be leaving a review since I noticed there Instagram profile is clearly posted on the wall for everyone to see. She then snatches the coffees we put on the counter and refused to let us purchase our drinks because I told her I would be leaving a review. I was super thoroughly impressed that they actually had seven teas!! I haven’t seen this in several years and it’s great quality tea. The coffee was great. The staff were very courteous and kind. The only bad thing we must comment on is the vegan chocolate chip bar. That thing was solid as a rock.!! it didn’t work. It almost felt like I was biting into cement. my fault that I didn’t ask if it is a very hard cookie! Now I have to wait to get to a microwave to try to warm it up to be able to eat it because now my teeth hurt just off the first bite

Other than that, we really loved all the selections in the store. Definitely a great job that was put in. Definitely come back, but we will avoid the cookie...
