Stay away from OneWay Diesel
This shop & these people are doing bad, bad business. If you tell a man youâre going to do a job for him, you usually fully explain the process and are genuinely interested in the customerâs satisfaction. Not these people. When I first met them, they were so eager to get your business and brag on the things they can do. Well, later on about a year went by and I asked them to perform a diesel performance upgrade. The first price I got the previous year was about $1500 & a year later it was $2200. Wow, I thought. But, I needed the tune as I was heading off to a project. They were very hushy, hushy on discussion of what they were going to do. The âkidâ was running the show by then & old daddy was busy playing with his new toys. Well, a few days later & itâs ready to pick up. But, they werenât actually finished yet. They wanted my money while I waited and waited for the kid to come talk to me and explain all that they had done. He finally came out and we discussed what was done and he took it for a test drive. When he was driving back up to the shop, I noticed that the tailpipe was a little low. They looked at it and fiddled with it while I was paying the lady up front $2200.00. I had to almost beg them for a hat & finally they gave me one. Iâve never worn it. After I get in the truck and start down the road, I noticed something strange again but continued on home. After investigating, I found that all the hangers were loose & clamps too. I had to get out my tools and reposition the exhaust pipe in place and tighten up all hangers and clamps. I went back over there the next day (Saturday) & they were closed. This really pissed me off. They are took my $2200 & did not complete the work. They use a front man sales tactic and then if youâre lucky you get to talk to the âkidâ, while old daddy is still playing and bragging on his toys. Stay away from...
Read moreAbout eight years ago, before one-way diesel performance was known for the company they are now, before they were on TV â- I was a kid nervously traveling across the country to start a new career. Six hours into my road trip of 18 hours, my third Cummins, started giving me issues with my injection system. I was only 19 y/o and only had a couple bucks to spare. I almost gave up on my journey went home. I got a hotel and resorted to a local FB diesel thread where Chase and Clay themselves reached out and asked me to come by the next morningâŚ.
Not only did they help me out and understand the large picture for myself (who I was a complete stranger), they took me in and got me back on the road and completely charged everything to paying it forward to the next person. Let me rephrase that. They did not charge me a penny.. something I will never forget. Yes, the part was only a few hundred dollars and some labor, but to me at that time that was everything. I was planning on going home and taking it as a sign to not start my new career. Because of this family, I did not give up. Thank you again to the Wells family.
1.5 years later, I was able to buy my dream truck. 4th gen megacab Longhorn. I then was able to bring that in for some performance upgrades as well as one of my other friends 6.7 Cummins. Chase spent the entire afternoon one on one with me driving the truck and making sure I was happy with the tunes and the performance of the truck. We were unable to get them by that night and had some hiccups, so the following morning he spent additional time until my truck was 100% how I wanted to before I took it cross-country. Genuine customer service that you canât beat.
I have also sent numerous friends to the shop and have never had any negativity to get back to me or any bad words of any kind. This is a great family with a strong Christian...
Read moreIf you want to drive your truck in and haul it back home.... Then this place is the one your looking for.. Ive delt with a lot of dishonest people in my life but Tommy is the worst person I've ever had to deal with. We fist started dong business with them way before they were on TV. Back than I was buying their cores and selling them new parts. Well one day we showed up and Tommy was stressed out. After talking to him he said he was about out of business. He need running motors for customers. So we found him 2 6.0 powerstrokes and a new rebuilt 5.9 Cummins. I bought all 3 and dropped them off He was supposed to pay me for them after he he got paid. Well we never got our money buy he was able to remodel his kitchen and bathroom. Funny how he had money for that but not the money to pay me back after I want out of my way for him. So if you need work done and Chase has time I would let him work on anything. But I wouldn't trust his dad (Tommy) to fix our work on a bicycle... If you go here watch where your $$$$ is going . Dont pay for nothing until the work...
